A new list, new books to explore

I love that the new MCBA list comes out in May, just in time for plenty of summer reading. While we don't officially start our program until November, now is the time to get a head start on reading your five.
I am very excited about this year's list; it's the best I've seen in several years and there are some wonderful books here. There is diversity, issues to make us think and reflect, different genres and formats and books to make us both laugh and cry. 💛

Varsity Readers

Congratulation to this year's Varsity Readers. Each of these students read 20 or more of the MCBA nominees.  They were honored at an all school meeting and received a trophy to recognize their achievement. It is quiet a feat!
