Here's a chance to earn a point for your classroom via a book project. Write a letter to the author of one of the nominated books. Let them know why their book made a difference. Here are the details:
- Write your letter via Google Docs and share it with me (with edit privileges so I can fix typos.)
- Express to the author how his or her book made a difference to you. Go deeper than "I really liked it!" Why? What was the connection? What did you learn? What new perspective do you now have?
- Use proper grammar and punctuation.
- I will send your letters to the authors. Who knows, maybe you will get a reply!
